A leviathan. A beast. If you are a serious golfer you must include Alferini on your itinerary.Close to 7300 yards from the back tees this is a fabulous tournament venue. From the tee box each hole presents you with a definite “no-go” area on one side, a chasm of rough, a vertiginous drop, something that frightens the life out of you. On the other side of the fairway moderate trouble awaits, leaving the contoured rolling fairways between the two. The fairways are actually more than generous, but such is the drama from the tee box that it becomes hard to overcome the fear instilled!
